周勉,博士,副教授,硕士生导师。2009年毕业于南京大学生命科学院生物技术专业,获理学学士学位。同年赴美国德克萨斯大学西南医学中心(UT Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas)生理学系攻读博士学位,从事密码子使用偏好对蛋白质表达、折叠、和功能影响的研究。2014年取得博士学位,研究成果发表在NatureMolecular MicrobiologyEMBO Reports等期刊上。201412月入职华东理工大学。2013年度国家优秀自费留学生奖学金获得者(国家留学基金管理委员会颁发)。入选2015年上海市浦江人才计划和上海市晨光计划,以及我校第二批青年英才引进与培育计划。获2016年国家自然科学基金青年项目和我校基本科研业务费。

以毕赤酵母为代表的重组蛋白表达系统改造,包括以下三个研究方向:

、密码子优化对重组蛋白的转录、折叠和功能的影响;
 2
、重组蛋白表达中常用的醇氧化酶启动子PAOX1的调控机制研究;
 3
、研究内质网压力应激和非折叠蛋白反应过程中影响分泌型重组蛋白表达的基因。
