  19821月毕业于华东化工学院化学工程系,获学士学位。19847月毕业于华东化工学院生物化工系,获硕士学位,19959月评为华东理工大学教授。1997年担任博士生导师。1998年享受国务院政府特殊津贴。

  曾任国家863高技术计划海洋技术领域专家组副组长,国务院学位委员会生物工程临时学科评议组专家,华东理工大学生物工程学院院长。受聘为国家海洋食品工程技术研究中心专家指导委员会副主任,福建省海洋功能食品工程技术研究中心、福建省海产品废弃物综合利用工程技术研究中心技术委员会主任,山东省水产动物免疫制剂工程研究中心专家委员会主任,福建省海洋生物资源开发利用协同创新中心学术委员会副主任,农业部水产养殖病害防治专家委员会顾问委员,海洋生物制备技术国家地方联合工程实验室、教育部海水养殖重点实验室、教育部水产种质资源发掘与利用重点实验室、教育部海洋生物遗传学与育种重点实验室、农业部海洋渔业资源可持续发展重点实验室、农业部海洋与河口渔业资源及生态重点开放实验室、农业部东海海水健康养殖重点实验室、农业部东海与远洋渔业资源开发利用重点实验室、农业部渔业装备与工程技术重点实验室、农业部海水养殖病害防治重点实验室、广东省水产经济动物病原生物学及流行病学重点实验室学术委员会委员,上海海洋药物工程技术研究中心技术委员会委员。担任Bioresouces and Bioprocessing、中国抗生素杂志、中国海洋药物编委。目前承担国家自然科学基金重点项目。为本科生讲授上海市精品课程生物化学,为博士研究生开设生物反应器设计与放大课程,已指导69名硕士研究生和52名博士研究生毕业,8名博士后出站,正在指导硕士研究生6名,博士研究生8名。已在国内外发表论文460余篇,其中SCI收录247篇,出版著作2部,参编著作6部,获省部级科技进步奖6项,教学成果奖1项,中国石油和化学工业优秀科技图书一等奖1项,申请国家发明专利70项,其中获得授权54项;申请国际专利3项,其中获得授权美国专利2项。

主要的研究方面:

1.海洋生物技术。研究海洋病原微生物的特性,掌握其致病规律,在分子水平上阐明细胞通讯相关的条件致病现象,研究病原细菌和宿主之间的互作机制,从基因水平上进行改造,开发减毒活疫苗和多价疫苗。目前承担着国家自然科学基金重点和面上项目、现代农业产业技术体系岗位科学家项目。

2.微生物工程。研究甲醇酵母基因诱导水平的精密控制网络,构建新的蛋白表达体系。解析生物合成代谢途径和相关基因(簇),在毕赤酵母中重构代谢网络,高效异源生物合成小分子活性化合物。在海洋微生物培养中,阐明丝状菌次级代谢调控的规律,调控菌丝形态,高效合成活性化合物。目前承担着国家自然科学基金项目和企业委托项目。

3.动物细胞培养。研究动物细胞的生理和代谢规律,开发无血清培养基,建立动物细胞培养生产蛋白药物的优化工艺。研究动物细胞表达外源基因的高效体系,构建适合于大规模无血清培养的重组细胞株。目前承担着企业委托项目。
