       周英,博士,教授,博士生导师生物反应器工程全国重点实验室固定成员,2025年入选上海市东方英才拔尖计划人才。兼上海市合成生物产业协会副秘书长,上海市食品学会副秘书长。2018年-2019赴荷兰瓦赫宁根大学微生物研究所进行访学。主要研究方向聚焦于合成生物学及活菌生物药,代表性成果发表在Cell Host & Microbe, PNAS, Advanced Science, Nucleic Acids Research, Biosensors and Bioelectronic等期刊上。主持参与多项国家自然科学基金(重点、面上、青年)、国家重点研发计划(课题、子课题)、上海市科委重点项目、探索者计划及企业横向等。

研究方向:

1. 合成生物学及活菌生物药

       构建工程化益生菌用于疾病的在体精准诊疗。以益生菌为底盘细胞,设计构建胞内传感、记录、调控等不同代谢功能模块,赋予工程化益生菌智能感应及原位诊疗功能,实现全细胞肠道疾病及代谢疾病及时诊断和治疗的目标。

2. 食源性致病菌的致病机制解析

       从翻译后修饰层面,阐明沙门氏菌、大肠杆菌等肠道致病菌侵染宿主增殖过程的调控机制;聚焦宿主环境中小分子信号激活调控蛋白关键位点酰基化修饰对致病菌侵染能力的调控作用,为食源性致病菌的防控及肠道健康维护提供理论支撑
