博士,教授。主要主持科研项目有 国家自然科学基金(连续主持两项);国家“十一五”支撑计划项目:苦瓜降血糖活性研究;国家“863”项目子课题-生物催化合成芳香手性醇基内酰胺研究以及果蔬洗涤用有机磷水解酶研制;浙江省重大新药创制:特异性抗肿瘤生物制品一类新药的合作研发及药企抗肿瘤药物研究项目等;
   
教学方面:承担本科生,研究生课程教学包括分子生物学,酶学教学等,主编或参编研究生及本科生酶学级酶工程教材10余部,获研究生、本科生教学成果奖10余次,发表论文40余篇, 申请专利10余项。

研究领域与课题内容:
一、新药筛选与应用开发研究
1.
特异靶向性抗肿瘤药物的研究与开发
采用基因工程技术,将专一性抗肿瘤多肽分子基因进行克隆、定点突变,转入蛋白表达体系进行大规模表达。研究重组蛋白分子的抗肿瘤特性和机理,进行新药申报的相关体外、体内的临床前新药研究工作。
2.
新型高安全性糖尿病治疗药物的研究
从天然降血糖传统中药材中克隆、分析降血糖活性成份的基因,进行其植物内表达特性、生物学功能、降血糖药效的研究。研究比较各不同植物品种中降血糖活性成份的含量变化。分离纯化天然降血糖活性成份以及采用基因工程技术表达生产重组降血糖活性组分,用于新药的开发研究。
二、药物传送途径及靶向性分子机理研究
对外源性生物活性分子体内的跨膜运输工具,特别是人源性穿膜肽进行其跨膜转运机理、转运特性、转运靶向性及转运后去向等从分子和细胞水平进行理论与应用研究。研究、开发高效及新型穿膜肽,用于药物的体内靶向性运输,提高药物的安全性和有效性。
三、.酶工程:酶的改造、酶的结构与功能,工业化应用研究
从多种微生物中筛选、克隆在医药工业、食品工业、能源工业等领域有应用前景的各种新型酶类基因,针对其应用进行酶的结构性质研究与改造,以适用与工业化应用开发。目前进行的相关酶类有:脂肪酶属(用于药物中间体的手性拆分和定向转化),肝素酶属(用于肝素的生物加工和分析)等。
