    1988年获华东化工学院(现华东理工大学)生物化学专业理学学士学位;1991年获华东理工大学生物化工专业工学硕士学位;毕业后留校任教,期间曾在香港城市大学生物及化学系开展研究工作。现任华东理工大学生物反应器工程国家重点实验室教授,博士生导师,动物细胞与组织工程研究室副主任。
   
多年来一直从事动物细胞培养技术研究及其在干细胞体外培养和人体组织体外构建中的应用,研究工作聚焦于动物细胞体外培养的无血清培养基研制、基于代谢工程的动物细胞大规模无血清高密度悬浮培养技术、采用生物反应器及微载体细胞培养体系生产病毒疫苗、干细胞体外规模化扩增和定向诱导分化、工程化人体组织体外构建新技术及生物反应器研制。
   
先后主持并完成了国家“863”项目“组织工程种子细胞体外大量扩增技术研究”、“临床级干细胞产业化技术研发”,国家重大新药创制课题“哺乳动物细胞大规模培养及药物制备关键技术”,国家支撑计划项目“动物细胞大规模无血清培养及表达产品制备技术”,国家自然科学基金项目“微组织体外构建技术及其过程分析”、“基于微构重塑技术构建大型预血管化工程组织”,上海市重大科研攻关课题“骨髓间充质干细胞体外扩增及成骨诱导的应用研究”、“功能性聚酯基组织工程材料制备及其对组织再生调控的研究”、“微载体技术用于兽用细胞疫苗产业化研究”、“猪流行性腹泻、猪传染性胃肠炎和轮状病毒的诊断及三联苗研制”等,其中“猪流行性腹泻、猪传染性胃肠炎和轮状病毒的诊断及三联苗研制”获上海市科技进步奖二等奖。在国内外核心刊物发表论文七十余篇,申请、公开或授权国家发明专利十多项。

 研究方向
1
、 干细胞/成体细胞体外大规模扩增与分化诱导技术
研究和认识体外培养过程中培养环境对干细胞增殖和定向诱导分化的影响及其规律,建立干细胞在生物反应器系统中模拟体内生长环境、维持细胞特性与功能的规模化培养技术,实现干细胞体外大量扩增。

、 细胞三维培养技术及其共培养模型建立
模拟细胞体内生长和生存的微环境,研究并认识细胞与细胞、细胞与胞外基质、细胞与细胞因子、细胞与支架材料的相互作用和相互关系,研制细胞生长和组织构建的支架材料及三维支架,建立不同细胞的三维共培养模型。

、 人体组织体外构建技术及其生物反应器
从降低工程化组织体外构建过程中的传质限制出发,研究培养环境、流体流动、物质传递对细胞生长、组织发育的影响及机制,研制工程化组织体外构建的生物反应器,建立细胞、胞外基质和血管化网均布以及过程参数易控的大型预血管化工程组织体外构建新技术。

、 动物细胞大规模无血清悬浮培养技术
研究无血清培养基的组成和成分对细胞生长、代谢及产物表达的影响,通过无血清培养基设计和细胞培养培养过程优化,调控细胞生长和代谢,建立适用于哺乳动物细胞大规模培养过程的无血清培养基开发技术和哺乳动物细胞大规模无血清高密度流加培养技术。

、基于生物反应器的细胞培养和病毒疫苗生产技术
研究培养环境及操作参数对细胞生长的影响,认识细胞生理状态与病毒感染、复制的关系,设计和开发适合于动物细胞大规模培养与病毒扩增的培养基组成,建立高效、稳定的病毒规模化生产技术。
